John David Ralph, 79, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Paule Yvonne (Labeyrie) Ralph with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
John was born on November 23, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Frederick and Evelyn W. (Coleman) Ralph. He received his education in Philadelphia and graduated from Germantown High School with the class of 1962. He continued his education attending Southern Illinois University and graduated with his bachelor's degree in Occupational Education.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years. During his enlistment, he served during the Vietnam War in submarine services.
In his early years, he was employed as a Logistics Instructor for BAE Systems, later becoming a court security officer for the Nashua, New Hampshire Sheriff’s Department. Most recently, he worked as a Medical Support Assistant for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs until his retirement.
In his free time, he enjoyed camping at Meredith Woods in New Hampshire, utilizing his HAM Radio and Golfing. He was a faithful and avid volunteer and fan of Drum Corps and a member of the Lions Club in Nashua. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family who he loved deeply.
In addition to his wife, Paule, he is survived by his two daughters, Camille Lemay and her husband Mark and Christine Caron and her husband Edward; his grandchildren, Justina Peasley and her husband Michael, Jessica O’Connell and her husband Nolan and Derek Staradub; as well as his great-grandchildren, Fiona Peasley, Harley O’Connell, and Waylon O’Connell.
Relatives and friends are invited to John’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, May 1st from 4 until 6 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will be held on THURSDAY, May 2nd at 10 AM in St. Paul Methodist Church, 335 Symth Road, Manchester, NH. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. His interment and presentation of military honors will be held on THURSDAY at 2 PM at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH. KINDLY MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
