Joseph P. “Joe” Lally, Sr., 70, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Joe is the beloved husband of Maureen (Keville) Lally with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.
Joe was born in Woburn, Massachusetts on January 29, 1954 and was the son of the late Patrick J. and Jean (Sullivan) Lally. He received his education in the Woburn, Massachusetts School System and was a graduate of Woburn High School with the class of 1972.
For many years, he was employed as a hospital materials manager working for various hospitals throughout his career.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and was an avid Boston sports fan but loved the Celtics and Patriots. He loved music and attending concerts whenever he could and never turned down a good cigar. He was a proud member of Club National, IAABO Board 117, and CYO Executive Board. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed deeply.
In addition to his wife, Maureen, he is survived by his children, Joseph Lally. Jr. and his wife Amanda, Caitlin Lebowitz and her husband Jeremy, and Colleen Lally and her fiancé Christopher Aguiar; his grandchildren, James Lally, Connor Lally, Timothy Lebowitz, and Brynn Lebowitz. He is also survived by his siblings, Patricia Beane and her husband Ron, William Lally and his wife Jeanne, Joyce Gray and her husband Kevin, John Lally and his wife Joan and Susan Ginivan and her husband Paul; his sister-in-law, Alice Lally; his brother-in-law, Thomas Keville; his sisters-in-law, Patti Keville and Nadine Keville; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Thomas Lally and Michael Lally; as well as his brother-in-law, James Keville.
Relatives and friends are invited to Joe’s visitation on THURSDAY, April 25th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on FRIDAY, April 26th at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. Interment to follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua.
